The HP Pavilion Power (15-cb010nr) is a solid gaming performer fit for entry-level gaming. Thanks to the modern Quad-core i5-7300HQ processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 card the Pavilion Power is a powerhouse capable of handling visually demanding apps and software. Plus you get a good battery to go along with. Its only caveat is the lackluster display and slow Solid State Drive. Even so, it shows much promise than its predecessor HP Pavilion Power 15t.

The MSI GP62MVR Leopard Pro-406 Laptop is a powerful gaming laptop specifically intended for gamers on a budget. It made its debut in the gaming scene owing to a pack of recently released new generation hardware (bound to make you smile). The laptop features Intel’s Core i7-7700HQ processor, 256 GB SSD, decent port selection, a full SteelSeries keyboard, 3GB Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU and a great starting price to crown it. We recommend it as a budget VR ready gaming laptop. That being said, the Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition remains our Editor’s choice for under $2,000 dollar gaming laptops.

The HP Pavilion Power 580-023w Desktop brags of great deal besides from decent price. It’s a feature packed system that will get you through gaming on AAA titles. You get your money’s worth in value thanks to a faster processor and high-end Nvidia 1060 graphics card. Still, you will have to uninstalled pre-installed bloatware, upgrade the memory to 16GB and add a solid state drive to make the system snappier. Generally, if you can find it for under $700 it is a great system for users not willing to build their own from scratch. Even though the little case limits  expandability, we recommend it for entry-level gamers looking for great performance on the budget.

Lenovo has yet again enlisted a competitor into the 14-inch space. The Lenovo Ideapad 510s 80UV001BUS features a Core i7-7500U processor, an AMD Radeon R7 M460 graphics chip and 8GB or Ram. It performs as well as it looks, but despite making the cut into the premium range, it doesn't entirely take the prize home.
